MENTORING MATES

More than 300 corporate volunteers are ‘Mentoring Mates’ for students from primary schools in South West Sydney.

Mentoring Mates is an in-school program where students (‘Little Mates’) are matched with corporate volunteers (‘Big Mates’) exchanging letters through the school year.

Once a year they meet at the company’s office showcasing a work environment that most of the Little Mates are likely to have never experienced.

The program is proven to improve students’ reading and writing skills, and provide meaningful interactions with positive working adult role models, which drives them to achieve their highest potential.
